IBM Deliver Project Executive in ATHENS, Greece

Job Description

Within the given scope, be the primary focal point / leader for activities on a contract or segments of large contracts. Accountable to meet revenue, profit, growth objectives and customer satisfaction targets. Works to build and maintain strong client relationships at required levels with the objective of being a trusted business partner.

Manages contract scope, commitments, and responsibilities of all parties. Contributes toward a high performing account team to support the contract and client's business. Engages in teamwork to execute contract terms & conditions, contract growth, conflict resolution, communications and providing guidance / assistance to team members. Driving Delivery to meet program / project schedules and develop contract deliverables that support the client's business with a focus on delivering on every commitment made to the client. Learn and participate in IBM selling techniques to identify business opportunities and leverage resources in closing new business with the client. Defines and understands problem situations and evaluates risks. Must be able to effectively communicate resource needs and project issues with business unit management to negotiate appropriate project resources.

Job responsibilities include:

Provide Account Leadership for overall service delivery as per contract for all domains and direct teams to meet contract deliverables such as SLAs, defined/agreed KPI with the client and other related deliverables as agreed with the client from time to time.

Manage account cost, project schedules and project deliverables as they relate to the delivery organization including IBM resources and coordinate with client resources to deliver services and solutions to support the client organization and ensure timely delivery of project milestones/deliverables.

Develop and review Integrated Project Plan as well as track delivery through planning, execution, monitoring and closure phases.

Be responsible to the Project Executive (PE) in identifying growth opportunities and contract profitability and client satisfaction.

Conduct weekly reviews of various Service Delivery domains to ensure the team is guided to achieve and maintain the required service quality.

Display excellent balance of skills in key management areas of client relationship management, financial management, delivery management, project/portfolio management and leading global deliver team.

Establish deep and wide relationships at an executive level as well as within various senior layers of the client management through personal trust and eminence.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Solid experience around client relationship management, financial management, delivery management, program management and people management

BSc or MSc degree in computer science, engineering or other relevant field is required

At least 10 years of experience in Banking Industry

Over 10 years of experience in managing complex integration projects

Knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Process Groups

Fluency in Greek and English languages

Experience in working in global delivery environment and leading diverse teams

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
